Monarch is well versed in all types of art installation. Two-dimensional or three-dimensional objects, whether a single piece in a home, a corporate collection, or a complete gallery installation, no job is too big or too small. With 23+ years of museum experience, Monarch has an understanding of objects and the structural needs of installation situations. We will work with you to ensure your artwork is installed in a safe yet visually pleasing way. Most importantly and unlike many other independently operating art handlers, Monarch is fully insured.

A 24-hour guarded entrance, steel roll-up door and retractable bollards are in addition to 24-hour monitoring in Monarch’s unit. Housed in a cave system, Monarch offers a naturally controlled environment which easily maintains the museum standard of 50% humidity (+/- 3%) and 72 degree temperature (+/- 3 degrees) regardless of season. Powerful back-up generators ensure against any power outage. The condition of every object is carefully reported with supporting photographic documentation upon arrival at the space. Once registered, Monarch ensures that all objects are properly and safely housed for long or short-term storage.

Whether shipping across town, country, or international, Monarch can provide the crating, packing, and shipping arrangements. Options for crates range from museum-quality multi-use crates, one time crates, boxes, and soft packing. Monarch also offers EU compliant crating for international transit. Monarch will not only pack objects for transit but will also arrange safe and appropriate shipping with fine art carriers, shuttles or common carriers. We also offer full-coverage insurance, if needed. Monarch offers local art transport and shuttle service from Kansas City to St. Louis and cities across the continental United States, scheduled upon request.

Consultations about the storage, installation and packing of artwork ranging from single objects to entire museum collections are available. We offer site visits and can provide competitive bids on most projects. Monarch also coordinates tour management services.
